SKG Fitness Business Policies
At SKG Fitness, I am committed to providing you with an excellent experience every time you partake in one of my training sessions. To ensure your experience is as stress-free and seamless as possible, please take a look at my business policies highlighted below. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call, text, or email me today. I look forward to training with you soon!
My Personal Fitness Business Policies:
My training sessions are by appointment only. To schedule a session, you can email me at sharon@skgfitness.training or call/text me at (240) 925-7605. Your session is reserving time on my calendar and prevents another client from doing the same. I appreciate your business and thank you for respecting my time. I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24-hour advance notice is required when cancelling a training session, as this allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule a session. If you are unable to give a 24-hours advance notice, you will be charged a $50 fee. This amount must be paid on the day of your cancellation.
Rescheduling Policy: Due to the length of time that many of my training sessions require, including travel, I ask that you plan ahead carefully when scheduling a session with me. 24-hour advance notice is required when rescheduling a training session. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule a session. If the same session is rescheduled more than twice, you will be charged a $25 fee that must be paid prior to your next scheduled training session.
No-shows: If you forget or consciously choose to forgo your training session for whatever reason, it will be considered a “no-show” and you will be charged for your “missed” session as per the cancellation statement above.
Late arrivals: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate other clients whose sessions follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your personal trainer will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a training session. Regardless of the length of the session actually performed, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration for your personal trainer and other SKG Fitness clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Memberships, Prepaid Training Sessions & Gift Certificates: SKG Fitness memberships and all prepaid training sessions are non-refundable. Furthermore, training sessions included in SKG Fitness memberships (e.g., Basic, Elite, Champion, Premier) are only available in the month for which you have paid; if you don’t utilize all sessions included in your monthly membership subscription to the fullest extent, their benefits will expire and do not roll over to the subsequent month of said monthly membership. Outside of SKG Fitness memberships, prepaid training sessions and gift certificates expire within 365 days of purchase date.
Membership Billing: Subscribing to an SKG Fitness membership entails automatically charging you each month on the date of your choosing. For example, you may choose to be charged on the 3rd of each month. On this date, the allotted training sessions included in your membership benefits renew automatically. The paid-for sessions included in SKG Fitness memberships expire at the end of each month as per stated above; however, should you have any remaining sessions included in your SKG Fitness membership, you may utilize up to one of the remaining training sessions (should more than one remain) on the billing date of your subsequent monthly membership.
Membership Upgrades & Downgrades: Training sessions of a membership that are not completely utilized will not remain available for application to future monthly memberships. However, if, by chance, you subscribe to a monthly membership and have decided that you would like to upgrade your membership in the middle of your month, you will be charged the difference in membership charges. Downgrades are only allowed on the subsequent billing date of your membership cycle; training sessions will not roll over.
Membership Freezes: Should you be out of town or sick, you may put your account on a temporary freeze. This will offset your next billing date by the amount of time your membership is frozen.
Cancelation Policy: 30-days’ notice is required in order to cancel your SKG Fitness membership. If given less than 30-days’ notice, the subsequent billing date of your monthly membership will be your last month of training sessions; after this, your membership will be canceled.
Thank you for understanding and helping me provide all SKG Fitness clients with the best possible experience!
